Nandani Krishak Samridhi Yojana was started by the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh in August 2023. Under this scheme, the Yogi government will provide 25 indigenous advanced breed cows to the farmers and cattle rearers of the state to open dairies.

The cost of building a branch of 25 milch cows under this scheme is Rs 62,50,000. In such a situation, the Yogi government will give 50 percent of the total expenditure to the beneficiary, i.e. a total of Rs 31,25,000.

Under the Nand Baba Milk Mission, the Uttar Pradesh government has announced Nandani Krishak Samruddhi Yojana 2023, the objective of which is to increase the income of farmers, make them self-reliant, and increase their inclination towards indigenous breeds of cows.

The Progressive Animal Husbandry Promotion Scheme of Nand Baba Milk Mission and Chief Minister Swadeshi Cow Promotion Scheme will also be started.

Through Nandani Krishak Samridhi Yojana (or Nandani Krishak Bima Yojana), 25 cows of indigenous breeds like Sahiwal from Punjab, Tharpark from Rajasthan, and Gir from Gujarat will be made available to accelerate milk production in the state.

Under the scheme, farmers who are permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh will get micro-loans and a good breed of cows from the cooperative society. The cattle rearer will get good milk.

This will also give a boost to indigenous breeds. This scheme will work well in economically strengthening the farmers and animal husbandry through artificial insemination programs and bringing a white revolution in the milk production sector.

 1: First Step: A 25% subsidy will be given on unit construction costs.

2: Second Step: A 12.5% ​​subsidy will be given in the project for the purchase, insurance, and transportation of milk cows.

3: Third Step: The remaining 12.5% subsidy will be given on the project cost.

2. Provide Cows: 25 indigenous cows of the advanced breed will be brought to the beneficiary from other states. For this, the government will provide small loans and subsidies.

4. Milk Sale Appropriate Price: Under the scheme, milk from cattle herders will also be purchased at a reasonable price.

5. Free Cows Health Check-up: The government will also conduct regular health checkups of these cows to remove health-related problems.

8. Financial Assistance: The state government has given a sum of Rs 1,000 crore for this scheme for the development of animal husbandry farmers.

2. Only for Registered Farmer: This will be available only to registered farmers of Uttar Pradesh.

3. Years Experience Must: The beneficiary should have at least three years of experience in cow rearing.

4. Tag to Cow Must: It is mandatory to tag the cows year-wise.

5. Own Land Required: 0.5 acres of land is required to set up the unit.

6. Own Or Rented Land: The land may be his own (ancestral) or may be on lease for 7 years.

7. Ban for Former beneficiaries: Former beneficiaries of Micro Kamdhenu, Mini Kamdhenu, and Kamdhenu schemes will not be able to avail the benefits of this scheme.

Recently, information about online applications has not been received, but offline applications for this scheme have started.

Form Submission: Application forms will be submitted to the office of the Chief Veterinary Officer or Chief Development Officer by 27th September.

Application Selection: The beneficiaries will be selected, and the documents of the selected beneficiaries will be verified by October 20. More applications will be selected by a committee headed by the Chief Development Officer.
