Chief Minister Sahakari Pani Vij Bill Mafi Yojana maharashtra:
In the state of Maharashtra, farmers are provided 3 phase electricity for their farming for only 8 hours at night. Due to global climate change and irregular rainfall, farmers are facing a lot of losses and problems. Farmers are troubled by the problem of electricity and its expenses. To overcome this problem, the Mahayuti government of Maharashtra state has established Kisan Bijli Vitran Company. Through this company, the government is starting a 14 thousand mega watt project. The solar electricity produced by this project will be provided for the agriculture of the state. The cost of this solar energy will be only Rs 3 per VAT. The government will make this payment and through the Sahakari Pani Bijli Bill Mafi Yojana, all the agriculture in the state will be provided free electricity for 24 hours. This was confirmed by the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra State Honorable Devendra Fadnavis in his press conference on November 15, 2024. Under this scheme, the government will provide free electricity to the farmers of Maharashtra for the next 5 years. The tenure of this scheme will be from the year 2025 to 2030.
