Objective of Madhu babu Pension Scheme:

1. Financial Assistance: By providing financial assistance to the economically weaker people of the society i.e. widows, handicapped and elderly people, it has become a source of income for them.

Madhu babu Pension Scheme eligibility criteria:

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Odisha. (Being a resident for the last 20 years is mandatory).
• For old age pension, the age of the applicant should be 60 years.
• Either the female applicant should be a widow or unmarried.
• Either the applicant should be disabled.
• Either the applicant should be a crutch patient.
• Either the applicant is 5 years or more in age and is handicapped or is unable to do any work or is blind or is mentally handicapped.
• Or the applicant is the wife of a female AIDS patient.
• Or the applicant is an AIDS patient.
• The annual income of the applicant is less than Rs.60000/-.
• The applicant is not a pension beneficiary of any other state or central government.
• The applicant does not have any criminal record.

Eligible beneficiary can apply for this scheme both offline and online.

1. Offline Application Process

• Visit your nearest Block Development Officer (BDO) office or Gram Panchayat.

• Get the application form and fill in the required details.

• Attach the required documents (Age Certificate, Income Certificate, Disability Certificate, etc.).

• Submit the form to the concerned authority.
