Bandhkam Kamgar Yojana:In many areas of Maharashtra state, dam workers are seen working. These workers go to cities and populated areas away from their villages with their families to work for their livelihood. Due to the low wages they get, it becomes very difficult to bear the expenses of the house. Due to this, he is not able to take care of his family’s health, children’s education and social security. Understanding this problem, the Maharashtra government has started “Bandhkam Kamgar Yojana” for these workers. Through this scheme, the government will provide financial assistance to all the workers from Rs. 2000 / – to Rs. 5000 / -.

Objective of Bandhkam kamgar Yojana:

  • 1. Economic Empowerment: The main objective of this scheme is to empower the construction unorganized workers of the state by providing financial assistance.
  • 2. Health Security: Under this scheme, the government will provide health insurance to the families of construction workers.
  • 3. Educational Security: Through this scheme, the state government will provide scholarships for the children of these workers.
  • 4. Social Security: According to this scheme, efforts will be made to improve the lives of workers by giving them the benefits of all such welfare schemes like accident insurance, pension benefits, houses to live in.
  • 5. Reducing child labor: Children of laborer families go to work with their parents, due to which those children are not able to get education. The government has started this damkam kaamgar yojna so that these children get education and do not have to work at a young age.

Bandkam Kamgar Yojna Eligibility Criteria:

To take advantage of this scheme, it is necessary to follow the following criteria of the government.

1. Permanent resident: The workers of this scheme must be permanent residents of Maharashtra state.

2. Age limit: For this scheme, the age of the applicant worker must be between 18 years to 60 years.

3. Work eligibility: To take advantage of this scheme, the worker must have been on work for 90 days in the previous year.

4. Worker registration: The applicant worker must be an authorized registrant in the Kamgar Kalyan Mandal of Maharashtra state.

Bandkam Kamgar Yojana Required Documents:

1. Age certificate (Birth certificate/Aadhar card/Driving license/School leaving certificate).

2. Identity certificate (Aadhar card/Driving license/Voting card).

3. Resident certificate (Aadhaar card/ration card).

4. Certificate of working for 90 days.

5. Bank account copy

6. Mobile number.

7. Three passport size color photos of the worker.

Bandhkam Kamgar Yojana Application Process:

1. Visit official website: To apply for this scheme, visit the official website of Maharashtra state https://mahabocw.in/.

2. Select “Construction Worker Registration”: Click on the option of “Construction Worker Registration” on the home page of the official website.

3. Include personal information: After clicking on Construction Worker Registration, a registration form will open in front of you. In its first section, include your personal information i.e. applicant worker’s name, father’s name, date of birth, Aadhar card number, Aadhar linked mobile number.

4. Include family information: In this section, you have to include your family information. That is, you have to include your wife’s name, children, and your residential address.

5. Upload documents: In this section, you have to upload your necessary documents. Or age certificate, resident certificate, identity certificate, 90 days work certificate, bank account and upload your photo.

6. Pay application fee: After this, the application fee window will open in front of you. This application fee of Rs. 25/- will be a one-time payment which has to be paid from your bank.

7. Submit application: After that a declaration will appear in front of you, read it properly and tick it and then finally click on the “Submit” button.

Bandhkam Kamgar Registration Fee:

1. Registration Fee:Rs. 25/- has to be done only once in lifetime.
2. Monthly Membership Fee:Rs. 1/- per month. If you want to fill one year then you will have to pay Rs.12/-. Or you can take membership for five years by paying Rs. 60/- as membership fee for five years.
Bandhkam Kamgar Yojana Benefits:
