Lado Protsahan Yojana Registration: To encourage a positive attitude toward the birth of a girl child in the state and to improve the education and upbringing of girls, the Rajasthan government launched the “Lado Protsahan Yojana” on August 1, 2024. Under this scheme, the government will provide financial assistance of Rs. 1 lakh from the birth of the girl child until she reaches the age of 21. Lado Protsahan Yojana Registration Process:

Applicants must apply for this scheme through an offline medium. Follow the steps below:

• Birth Registration: If the girl child is born in a village, her birth should be registered at the nearest Anganwadi center. If she is born in a city, the birth must be registered at the city corporation office.
• Visit Health and Family Welfare Office: After birth registration, the applicant must visit the Health and Family Welfare Office to obtain the application form. The form must be filled out completely, with all necessary documents attached, and submitted to the concerned officer.
• Get PCTS ID / Unique ID: Once the application is submitted, the Health and Family Welfare Office will issue a PCTS ID / Unique ID to the applicant. The first installment of the benefit will then be deposited into the beneficiary’s bank account via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).
• Upload Maternal Child Card for the Second Installment: To receive the second installment, the applicant must upload the Maternal Child Health Card (Mamta Card) received from the Anganwadi Center to the PCTS Ojal portal.
• Upload School Certificate for the 3rd to 6th Installments: The 3rd to 6th installments will be provided after the applicant uploads an education certificate from the school where the girl is enrolled. The applicant must request this certificate from the school.
• Upload Class 12 Admit Card for the Last Installment: After receiving the sixth installment, the applicant must upload the girl’s Class 12 Admit Card and other necessary documents to the Health and Family Welfare Office Portal. The last installment will be deposited into the girl’s bank account via DBT after she turns 21.

Details of the Lado Protsahan Yojana Registration:

• The Rajasthan government will provide Rs.1 lakh in seven installments after the birth of the girl child.Now updated amount is Rs.1.50 lakh.
• The first six installments will be deposited into the bank account of the girl’s parents or guardians. The seventh and final installment will be deposited into the girl’s own bank account via DBT.
• The Rajasthan government has now included the already-running Rajshree scheme into the Lado Protsahan scheme.

Objective of the Lado Protsahan Yojana Registration:

1.This scheme aims to promote positive thinking towards the birth of a girl child in the families of the state and to ensure the development of girls in Rajasthan.

2.The scheme is designed to prevent gender discrimination in terms of a girl child’s education, nutrition, and health within the family.

3.The scheme seeks to reduce the female mortality rate by providing financial assistance to child-bearing women in the state.

4.The scheme also aims to ensure the enrollment of young girls in schools.

5.It is intended to provide educational opportunities to girls and to curb child marriage in society.

Lado Protsahan Yojana Eligibility Criteria:

1 It is necessary for the pregnant woman to be a native of Rajasthan state.

2. It is mandatory for the girl to be born in an eligible government health center or a hospital authorized for the Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSW).
