NSP Top Class Scholarship for OBC students:The children of poor and backward classes in India cannot get admission in top schools due to their financial weakness. Those children are deprived of higher education even after being ahead in education. Keeping this in mind, the central government has started the PM YASASVI Scholarship Scheme.

This scheme is the “PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme” run by the central government, which is popular as PM YASASVI Yojana. This scheme is run by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment of the Central Government. For this scheme, this ministry has established an institution named NTA (the National Testing Agency). This institution takes the PM-YASASVI entrance test. Students who pass this entrance test are eligible for this PM YASASVI Scholarship Scheme.

Objective of PM YASASVI Scholarship Scheme:

1. Through this scheme, scholarship is to be provided to students of OBC, EBC and DNT category of the country.

2. Financial assistance is provided to the poor and backward class children of the country in their education.

3. To motivate and promote poor children for higher education.

Benefits of PM Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme:

1. Scholarship is to be provided to the eligible student of this scholarship scheme for fulfilling the following requirements.

2. According to this scheme, scholarship is to be provided to the eligible student for tuition fees and non-refundable fees.

3. In this, Rs. 2 lakh per year will be given to each student for studying in a private sector institution and Rs. 3.75 per student per year will be given for studying in the institution of private sector flying clubs.

4. Under this scheme, Rs. 3000/- per month will be given to each student for living expenses.

5. Through this scheme, eligible students will be given Rs. 5000/- per year to buy books and stationery.

6. The student will be provided Rs. 45000/- financial aid to buy laptop, UPS and printer during education.

7. The central government will pay the tuition and non-refundable fees of top colleges to the educational institution through direct transfer facility (DBT).

8. The government will directly transfer the money for the expenses of living, books and stationery to the beneficiary student through DBT to the student’s bank account.

PM Yessavi Scholarship Scheme Eligibility:

The following eligibility criteria are given below to avail the benefits of this PM Yessavi Scholarship Scheme.

1. The student must be from OBC, EBC and DNT category.

2. The student must have passed 12th class.

3. The annual income of the student’s family should be less than 2.50 lakhs.

4. It is necessary that the student has taken admission for full-time course in a notified educational institution eligible for PM Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme.

5. Only two children (brother or sister) of a family will get the benefit of this scholarship scheme. The third child will not get the benefit of this scheme.

6. A declaration will be taken from the family of the eligible student in which it will be written that this beneficiary student is not the third child of the family.

7. The educational institution will give the first priority to the first year students for distributing the scholarship. After that, it will be given to the second, third and fourth year students. That is, those students who have more years left in their education course will be given priority.

8. The educational institutions are given the freedom to give 30% of the scholarship amount to the students who have passed in their merit and class.

9. If eligible students fail in the next class or year, their scholarship is terminated.

10. If this scholarship scheme is for OBC children, then they will be given first priority.

11. If the number of students taking admission in the educational institution is more than the number of scholarship slots, then the students will be selected on the basis of the eligibility and merit of the eligible student.

9. Other Central Governments Institutions

Note: According to the scheme, if an educational institution from the list does not apply for scholarship for three consecutive years, then that institution will be removed from the eligible list.

PM YASASVI Central sector Scheme apply online process:

1. To apply for this scheme, you have to go to the official website of the government https://scholarships.gov.in/.

2. After that the home page of the official website will open in front of you. In this, you have to click on the applicant option.

3. After that you will see the applicant id and password option. You need to enter your id and secret key in it. (Note: To match this id and password, the applicant will have to register on this website first).

4. After this you have to select the scholarship option.

5. After that the scholarship application form will open in front of you. All the information asked in this form has to be filled properly.

6. After that upload your necessary documents in the upload section and then click on the submit button.

Note: While filling the application form, the student has to select the option of his obc, ebc and dnt category.

7. Second year understudies need to apply for reestablishment of their grant. The application of those students will be verified by the educational institution.

8. After getting scholarship, first year students should buy laptop or computer and peripheral equipment in the first year itself. At the time of application for next year

You will have to submit the purchase bills of your laptop or computer. Only then will you be eligible to apply for the second year scholarship.

pm Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme Required Documents:

1. Student’s Aadhar Card.

2. Passport size photo.

3. Educational qualification mark sheet or passing certificate.

4. Student’s family income certificate.

5. Caste or community certificate.

6. Disability certificate (if applicable).

7. Bank account details.

8. Admission rank certificate.

9. Receipt of educational institution fee.

10. Other documents may be demanded based on requirement.
