Sandhya Suraksha Yojana:The Karnataka government has launched the Sandhya Suraksha Yojana to save the senior citizens of 65 years and above from financial crisis and to make them self-reliant. This is an old age pension scheme which was started on 02/07/2007. Under this scheme, the government provides pension of Rs. 1500/- per month to the beneficiary elderly person.

Sandhya Suraksha Yojana Age Limit:

Age limit: 65 years and above.

Sandhya Suraksha Yojana Eligibility:

The following persons are eligible for this scheme.

1.Small and poor farmers of Karnataka state.

2. Agricultural labourer.

3. Weaver labourer.

4. Unorganized workers. Construction and building workers of the unorganized sector are not eligible for this.

Sandhya Suraksha Yojana Eligibility Criteria :

1. The applicant senior citizen should be a permanent resident of Karnataka state.

2. The age of the applicant must be 65 years and above.

3. The combined annual income of applicant husband and wife should be less than Rs.32000/-.

4. Applicant husband and wife should not have joint deposit amount of more than Rs.10000/- in any bank or financial institution.

5.If the applicants are sons of the elderly and they do not take care of the elderly. So those elderly people can also apply for this scheme.

Sandhya Suraksha Yojana Documents:

• 1. Two passport size colour photos.
• 2. Age Certificate(School Living Certificate/Birth Certificate).
• 3. Resident Certificate(Ration Card/Voting Card).
• 4. Aadhar Card.

2. Login.

3. Click on Sandhya Suraksha Yojana application.

4. Include Aadhar Card.

5. Verify Aadhaar.

6. Fill the application form.

7. Upload necessary documents

8. Submit the application.

Sandhya Suraksha Yojana offline application:

1. The applicant has to go to his nearest Atal Jansnehi Kendra or Gramovan Kendra.

2. Get the application form.

3. Fill all the information asked in the application form.

4. Paste your passport size photo.

5. Attach the required documents.

6. Submit it to the concerned officer.

2. Click on know your status of pension application.

3. Include your application number and date of birth or applicant’s name and date of birth.

4. The status of the application will be visible to you.

Sandhya Suraksha Yojana Application Status Check By Mobile Number :

The applicant can check the status of his application through the registered mobile number.

1. For this, the applicant has to send an SMS to this mobile number 9731979899 from his registered mobile number.

2. The sms(message) format is :

kagpen<aapplication number> send to 9731979899.

For example : If your application number is 10150980328 then you should send sms(message) like this.

3. You will immediately receive a message regarding your application status on your mobile number.
