DAP Subsidy Scheme|Modi Government of India gave New Year gift to the farmers

On the first date of the new year, Modi government held a cabinet meeting on economic matters. In this meeting, a decision was taken to give 55% subsidy on purchase of DAP fertilizer to the farmers of the country. This is a New Year gift given by Modi government to the farmers. Under this DAP subsidy scheme, a 50 kg bag will be available to the farmers of the country for just Rs 1350/-. Whose price in the open market is more than Rs. 3000/-. Thanks to this DAP subsidy scheme of Modi government, the farmers of the country will get it at less than half the price.

DAP Subsidy Scheme details :

Due to war situation the price of fertilizer in the international market the consequences of this are increasing so that our farmers do not have to suffer and the expenses of the farmers do not increase, therefore, under the leadership of Prime Minister Honorable Modiji, a cabinet meeting was taken on the first date of 2025.

In this meeting, a special grant package has been approved. According to this, 55% subsidy has been declared on the purchase of dap fertilizer to all the farmers of the country. Under this scheme, a 50 kg bag of DAP fertilizer will be available for just Rs. 1350/-.

For this dap subsidy scheme, the government has approved a special grant package of Rs 3850 crore. After the cabinet meeting, Information and Broadcasting Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnav gave this information in the press conference.

Similarly, a grant amount of Rs 824 crore has been approved for the improvement of technology and development of farming and fertilizer. The government will use this amendment amount for farming and fertilizer practice by taking along amendment companies like Yes Tech and Windus.

Through this amendment, new technology will be developed in agricultural fertilizers and practice will be done on how to maximize production by minimizing the expenditure in farming.

In the same meeting, it has been decided to extend the two schemes, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) and Reorganized Weather Based Crop Scheme (RWBCIS) in the financial year 2025-26.

Objective of DAP Subsidy Scheme:

• Providing subsidy: To provide subsidy on purchase of fertilizers to the farmers of the country.
• Saving on crop expenses: Every year a farmer has to spend a huge amount to buy fertilizer for his crop. By providing grants through this DAP subsidy scheme, there will be savings in the expenses of the farmers.
• The crop has to be protected: By taking the help of this scheme, farmers will protect their crops by supplying fertilizer to their crops.
• To encourage farmers: The main objective of this scheme is to encourage the farmers of the country to do farming.
