Through this scheme, the farmers having land are to be provided financial assistance for their seeds, insecticides, and fertilizers and the landless farmers are to be provided financial assistance to make them self-reliant by doing goat rearing industry, small poultry farming business, duck rearing, fish rearing, etc.

Similarly, all farmers have been given insurance cover of Rs 2 lakh per year.
