The Haryana government has announced a new scheme for the poor and economically weaker families of the state in the annual budget for 2023-24. The name of this scheme is Deen Dayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Family Protection Scheme, also known as the “Dayalu Scheme”. According to this scheme, based on information given by the government to the family, based on verified information, and the death or permanent disability of a member of the family between the ages of 6 years to 60 years whose annual income is less than Rs. 1.80 lakh, the government will provide financial assistance based on the age of the person. Will provide financial assistance.

  1. The main objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to the poor and deprived families of the state.

2. If a male or female member dies (natural or accidental) in any family in the state, their family has to face great grief and financial crisis. The objective of this scheme is to help during this crisis.

3. Thus, if someone in a family becomes disabled due to an accident, the family’s livelihood comes to a halt. The government will compassionately provide financial assistance to such families at such a time.

4. Through this scheme, financial assistance will be provided to poor families and they will be encouraged to stand again in society by becoming self-reliant.

1. For this scheme, the annual income of the applicant’s family should be less than Rs 1.80 lakh.

2. the Family Income Information Data Repository (FIDR) database should be verified for this scheme.

3. To avail of the benefit of this scheme, it is mandatory for the family to have an ID or Family Identity Card (PPP).

4. The beneficiary’s age of this scheme should be between 6 years to 60 years.

5. The scheme is dated 01.07.2017 and death/disability before 1st April 2023 will not be considered by the Trust.

6. It is mandatory for the disabled beneficiary of this scheme to be 70% or more disabled.

The government will assist the beneficiary family of this scheme based on the death or age of the disabled person. The following rules for this are given below.

  1. Those who are construction workers, industrial workers, other workers, private sector employees, private employees registered under the Haryana Labor Welfare Board (HLWB) and whose family annual income is less than Rs 1.80 lakh and who are eligible will be compensated by HLWB.

2. Workers who are contract workers, unorganized workers, etc., who are registered under the Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (HBOCW) and whose annual family income is less than Rs 1.80 lakh, will be compensated by HBOCW.

3. If HLWB or HBOCW Labor Department refuses to grant compensation, all workers will be compensated through the compassionate scheme based on their eligibility.

2 . The beneficiary or claimant of this scheme has to do so within 3 months after the natural or accidental death of his/her family member.

5. Your application will be approved after verifying all the documents.

6. According to this scheme, the assistance amount will be transferred through DBT to the bank account linked to the PPP account of the beneficiary.

1 . After the death of a family member, this assistance amount will be given to the head of the family who has been working for him for 60 years.

2. If no person in the family is in the age group of 18 to 60, then the assistance amount will be provided to their minor son or daughter.

3. If after the death of the member, one person is between 25 to 45 years of age and there is a minor boy/girl, then in this case Rs 5 lakh will be given to the member and Rs 2 lakh to the minor. Rs 5 lakh will be given.

4 . The assistance amount will be provided to the permanently disabled person in his bank account linked in the PPP database.

5. If any person takes the benefit of this scheme by hiding the true information and if the government official comes to know about it, the assistance amount will be withdrawn from that beneficiary along with interest of 12% per annum.

1 . The implementing agency for this scheme will be the Haryana Family Protection Trust (HPSN).

2. Necessary instructions will be issued regarding the scheme and its proper implementation and accounting process.
