According to this scheme, smartphones will be given free of cost to all Anganwadi female teachers and their assistants in the state.

- The applicant woman must be a permanent resident of Karnataka state.

This scheme has been announced by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in his state budget on 16 February 2024. To apply for this scheme, follow the information given below.
- First, go to the official website of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of Karnataka https://wcd.karnataka.gov.in/.
2. Anganwadi Teacher Smart Phone Scheme 2024 Click on the application link.
3. This application form has to be downloaded and printed.
4. After that, you have to fill in all the information asked in this form completely and put your signature on the form.
5. After that the necessary documents have to be attached with the form.
6. After that you have to submit this form to the concerned officer in your nearest Gram Panchayat office.
7. The concerned officer will check your form and documents and send them to the District Industries Centre.
8. After verifying your form, you will be provided a smartphone. This process may take 15 days.
