Lakhpati Didi Yojana in Engish: On 15th August 2023, the Independence Day of the country, the Honorable Prime Minister of our country addressed the country at the Red Fort in Delhi. In this speech, the launch of Lakhpati Didi Yojana was announced for the poor women of our country. According to this scheme, it was announced to make 2 crore women of the country lakhpatis. The main objective of this scheme is to make the women of the country self-reliant by making them entrepreneurs.

According to this scheme, the government will provide interest-free loan up to 5 lakhs to women to start their own industry and will provide free training to start the enterprise.

Lakhpati Didi Yojana is a central government initiative. In which the government provides interest-free loan up to Rs 5 lakh to the eligible woman and training is provided to the woman to do industry.

•             The main objective of this scheme is to make 2 crore women in our country lakhpatis.

Lakhpati Didi Yojana in Engish Benefits:

1. Interest free loan: Through this scheme, the government will provide interest free loan up to 5 lakhs to eligible women to start their own industry.

2. Free industry training: According to this scheme, the government will provide free training to women in silk farming industry, animal husbandry, production, business, tailoring, food industry, agriculture industry and business through skill development.

3. Marketing assistance: This scheme will help women to sell their products in the market.

4. Will connect with government ministry: The beneficiary woman of this scheme will be connected with the ministry of state and central government of the country on the basis of her industry. Due to which the concerned ministry will help those women in preparing, selling and increasing their production.

5. Lakhpati Didi will be made: The aim of this scheme of the Government of India is to make 2 crore Lakhpati Didis. That is, every woman will be guided and helped to earn Rs. 10000/- every month.

6. Women Empowerment: Through this scheme, the government will make women self-reliant and empowered by making them entrepreneurs.

7. Financial Literacy: Under this scheme, the government will make the women of the country financially literate.

8. Livelihood Assistance: According to this scheme, the government will make eligible women entrepreneurs by providing training and financial assistance. These women will create income for the family.

Lakhpati Didi Yojana in Engish Eligibility:

• The applicant woman must be a permanent resident of India.
• The age of the woman must be between 18 years to 50 years.
• The woman should be a member of the self-help group of her village.
• It is necessary to be a member of this self-help group (SHG) for 2 years.
• The annual income of the woman should be less than 3 lakhs.
• Apart from this, the Union Territory and State Government can have their own criteria.

1. Aadhar card of the applicant woman.

2. Ration card of the applicant woman.

3. Bank account.

4. Mobile number.

5. Two passport size photos of the woman.

Lakhpati Didi Yojana in Engish Online Apply Process:

The process of applying online for this Lakhpati Didi scheme is given below; follow these step by step instructions.

1. Visit the Website: To apply for this scheme, the applicant woman has to visit the official website lakhapatididi.gov.in of the government.

2. Find the Option of Applicatiom: After that the home page of the official website will open in front of you. In this, click on the option of “Application”.

3. Verify with Aadhar: After this a new page will open in front of you. In which you have to include your Aadhar card number and click on the send OTP button.

4. Mension the OTP: After that an OTP pin will come on the mobile linked to your Aadhar card. After including that OTP, click on the verify button.

5. Click On Apply Tab: After that a new page will open in front of you in which the tab of “Lakhpati Didi Yojana Online Apply” will appear. Click on it.

6. Fill the Form : After this an application form will open in front of you. In which all the information asked like the woman’s full name, date of birth, PAN card number, district, taluka, village, pin code, mobile number and email have to be filled.

7. Upload your Documents: After this, click on next. After that, you will see the document upload section. You have to upload your necessary documents in it.

8. Submit the Application: After that, a declaration will appear below, read it and tick it and click on the “Submit” button.

9. Get Acknowledgment Recipt: After this, you will see an acknowledgment receipt. Download and print it and keep it safely with you. The number of this acknowledgment receipt will be used later to know the status of the application.

In this way, the online application process of Lakhpati Didi Yojana is completed.

Process of applying Lakhpati Didi Yojana offline:

1. The woman should go to the nearest Mahila Bal Kalyan office. Get the Lakhpati Didi Yojana application.

2. Fill this form completely.

3. Attach the necessary documents.

4. Paste your passport size photo on the form and sign it.

5. Re-Check the all applicaion to your end.

6.Submit it to the concerned officer.

7.The concerned officer will submit the application and give you the receipt. Keep this receipt with you safely.
